Disney’s Newsies takes place at Scranton Preparatory School in Scranton from Wednesday, April 22 through Sunday, April 26, 2026. Presented by the Scranton Prep Players, this student-led production brings the high-energy musical to the stage with multiple performances throughout the week.
Showtimes include Wednesday, April 22 at 6:00 PM; Thursday, April 23 at 6:00 PM; Friday, April 24 at 7:00 PM; Saturday, April 25 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM; and Sunday, April 26 at 2:00 PM. Audiences can choose from a variety of performance times to experience this popular Broadway musical.
Featuring memorable songs, dynamic choreography and a compelling story inspired by real events, Newsies follows a group of young newspaper sellers as they rally for fair treatment and stand up for what they believe in.
Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for students and seniors. The production offers a lively and engaging theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.
