Handbuilding Class for Adults at Peaceful Potter in Wilkes-Barre meets on Tuesday mornings, March 3, 10, 17 and 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, giving students a relaxed, creative space to explore clay. This four-week series is designed for adults who want hands-on instruction in building pottery without the wheel.
Throughout the month, students will hand build pottery pieces using pinch, coil and slab-built methods. Projects will vary from week to week, allowing participants to experiment with different forms, textures and techniques while building confidence and skill.
After the four class sessions, students will return during the second weekend of the following month to glaze their finished pieces at their leisure. This extra visit offers time to add color and surface design before the final firing.
