Intermediate Wheel Throwing Class for Adults at Peaceful Potter in Wilkes-Barre meets on Tuesday evenings, April 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and is designed for students ready to build on their foundational wheel skills. Intro to Pottery or equivalent experience is required to enroll.
Over four consecutive weeks, participants will continue to advance their technique on the pottery wheel, focusing on improving control, consistency and form. Guided projects and instructor feedback will help students refine their throwing, shaping, trimming and finishing methods while exploring more complex vessel shapes.
Students will return during the second weekend of the following month to glaze their pieces at their leisure, selecting colors and finishes to complete their work before the final firing.
