Let Your Hair Down, Rapunzel – Children’s Theatre Musical takes the stage at Marywood University in Scranton on Thursday, April 9, Friday, April 10, and Saturday, April 11, 2026, with morning and midday performances.

This musical adaptation of the classic fairy tale follows Rapunzel’s story from her father’s fateful promise to a witch, to her life locked away in a tower. On her 16th birthday, Rapunzel’s journey takes a turn as rescue attempts begin and she teams up with a prince to challenge expectations and embrace individuality.

Designed for young audiences and families, the production brings the familiar tale to life with music, storytelling, and a message about acceptance and being true to oneself.
