Spring Volunteer Day | Lacawac Sanctuary, Lake Ariel

Spring Volunteer Day takes place at Lacawac Sanctuary in Lake Ariel on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This community event invites volunteers of all ages to help prepare the sanctuary grounds for a new season of exploration and learning.
Participants will assist with a variety of hands-on projects, including trail clearing, painting and general site improvements. It’s an opportunity to spend time outdoors while contributing to the care and upkeep of one of the region’s most valued natural spaces.
Volunteers will gather at the Visitors Center before heading out to work on projects throughout the property. Snacks and drinks will be provided to keep everyone energized during the morning.
Registration is encouraged to help organizers plan for supplies and refreshments. Attendees should come prepared to get a little dirty and enjoy a rewarding day of teamwork and outdoor service.
