Winter Animal Adaptations at the Pocono Environmental Education Center in Dingmans Ferry is offered on January 4 and February 22 at 1:30 PM, giving guests two opportunities to explore how wildlife survives the challenges of winter.
This program introduces participants to the physical and behavioral strategies animals use to stay warm, locate food, and conserve energy during the coldest months. Topics may include hibernation, migration, camouflage, and other remarkable adaptations seen in nature.
Designed for learners of all ages, the session provides an accessible and informative experience for families, students, and nature enthusiasts. Admission is $5 per person.
