Halloween season is in full swing, and there’s no better time to load up on candy, costumes, and family fun with halloween events and activities for kids. All across NEPA, families are heading out to amusement parks decked in pumpkins and lights, local farms with costume parades and candy trails, and downtown streets lined with decorated trunks and sweet treats. These community celebrations make it easy to get in the spirit all October long — no tricks, just plenty of treats.

Hallo-Fun Weekends at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg run October 17–26, bringing festive décor, themed rides, and seasonal treats. More than 50 attractions take on Halloween twists, including the Haunted Antique Cars and Pioneer Train Halloween Express. Guests can also enjoy special menus, unique merchandise, and live entertainment.

Lil Grim’s Family Fun Hayride at Reaper’s Revenge in Scott Township offers Lil Grim’s Family Fun Hayride on October 18–26, a kid-friendly version of its haunted attraction.
