Sunsets on SOMA: The Popular, Outdoor Happy Hour and Concert Series is Back for the Summer
Diamond City Partnership is bringing back Sunsets on SOMA for the 2025 summer season, a monthly pop-up happy hour and concert series in downtown Wilkes-Barre. The celebration will kick off on Thursday, May 15 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 41 South Main Street in Midtown Village.
Live music, local drinks and good vibes at Sunsets on SOMA
This free, outdoor pop-up event will feature live music from popular, local bands. And event sponsor, Susquehanna Brewing Company will offer a variety of beer and adult beverages for purchase. The event will also feature cornhole games and more fun surprises.
The May 15th pop-up happy hour event also coincides with the start of Wilkes-Barre’s famous Fine Arts Fiesta, an annual celebration of local and regional arts, music, crafts and more. Visitors are invited to check out the art exhibits, vendors, crafts and food on Public Square, then stroll over to Midtown Village for live music, locally-brewed craft beer, wine and tasty cocktails.

The 2025 Sunsets on SOMA pop-up happy hour series will be held outdoors at Midtown Village every third Thursday of the month from May through September.
