The Sounds of the Caribbean Come to Downtown Scranton

The Electric City Steel Drum Project makes it easy to imagine that you’re in the islands. This nonprofit music program provides steel drum lessons and concerts for all members of the Scranton community.

Classes are open to all ages and skill levels, no prior experience necessary. Just come ready to learn and have fun! You’ll learn how to play the steel drum and other percussion instruments, then join an ensemble to make music with others. You’ll also have the chance to perform at community concerts.
