Scranton Music Academy in Scranton has been teaching students of all ages since 2006. As NEPA’s largest music school, it serves more than 450 students each week. Lessons are available for piano, guitar, violin, drums, voice, and many other instruments. With nearly 30 professional instructors, each student receives a lesson plan tailored to their goals and learning style.
Students can participate in free, optional recitals every January and June. These performances provide a supportive space to showcase progress without fees or fundraising. The academy also motivates students through the Musical Ladder System®, offering wristbands, trophies, and certificates to celebrate achievement.
Scranton Music Academy invests in advanced teaching spaces. Each of its 6,000-square-foot facilities includes well-stocked lesson rooms, Bose® sound systems, and comfortable parent lounges with Wi-Fi. They also provide convenient parking, professional office staff, and flexible scheduling six days a week.
