The Secret’s Out

The Wooden Keg Tavern in St. Clair is an Irish pub and restaurant with a bit of a history. The building was originally a hotel in the 1860s. According to local lore, it was a gathering place for the Molly Macguires. Stop by, and it will quickly become your favorite hangout too.

The Wooden Keg serves traditional Irish dishes and pub food with a gourmet twist. The menu pairs perfectly with their large selection of beers.

The Wooden Keg offers indoor and outdoor seating, including a bar and a family-friendly dining room. Kick back with a pint in the Molly Macguire Tunnel Room, located in a passageway that formerly connected the building to a distillery across the street. Today, it’s an intimate dining space with a cool flair. They also have a ‘20s-themed speakeasy room for private parties, complete with a hidden entryway.
