Soccer at all levels is enjoying rapid growth in NEPA, and now fans can enjoy semi-pro matches in Scranton from May to July. Since 2013, the Electric City Shock have been a member of the National Premier Soccer League. The Shock is one of 98 national teams in the league and they play in the Northeast Region. Home matches are held at the University of Scranton’s Fitzpatrick Field.
