Downtown Scranton Boutique Keeps Things Chic and Classy
Tachi Hill is the place to be when it comes to finding chic and trendy womenswear in Scranton! We chatted with owner, Jessica Merritt about what makes this Electric City Boutique such a special piece of her life.
Merritt moved from New York to Northeastern PA seven years ago, along with her husband and four kids. She absolutely loves the area and couldn’t imagine opening Tachi Hill anywhere else! Merritt went to school for broadcast journalism, but always dreamt of opening up her very own boutique. When the opportunity presented itself on North Washington Ave., there was no question that it was time to bring her dreams to reality! Tachi Hill opened its doors in November of 2024, and since then it’s been a staple of the Scranton community.
Merritt says the best part of Tachi Hill is her wonderful customer base. She’s loved getting to know repeat customers and being able to cater to their styles with her inventory. Her children are her utmost inspiration and the reason behind everything she does.
