Handbuilding Class for Adults at Peaceful Potter in Wilkes-Barre meets on Tuesdays, February 3, 10, 17 and 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, giving students a dedicated weekly time to explore clay through guided projects. This series is designed for adults who want a relaxed, creative introduction to ceramic handbuilding techniques.
Over four consecutive sessions, participants will work on a variety of handbuilt pieces, learning how to shape and refine forms using simple tools and methods. The class structure allows students to build skills from week to week while completing functional or decorative pottery projects.
Students will return during the second weekend of the following month to glaze their finished pieces at their leisure, adding color and surface design before a final firing.
