Weekends are made for sunrise hikes.
The Meadowsweet Preserve connects to the Quarry Ridge Preserve and Lackawanna State Park via a 2-mile out and back trail. This trail carries visitors through forests, wetlands and open fields. There are plenty of opportunities to view wildflowers and wildlife along the way. The short trails make it easy to plan stunning sunrise and sunset hikes.
Visitors can park in the gravel lot just off Lily Lake Road about half a mile north of the intersection with North Abington Road.
Countryside Conservancy owns and manages the Meadowsweet Preserve. It is open to the public from dawn to dusk.
