All Under One Roof -- A Culinary Tour of Four Unique Foodie Destinations
We were recently invited to an evening of food & drinks at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in the Poconos. The night featured delicious menu items from their four signature on-site restaurants, Sortino’s Italian Kitchen, Cinco Niños, Double Cut Steak House & B-Lux Grill and Bar. Each restaurant showcased their own unique dishes and included a special demonstration.
First, we were treated to some classic burgers and a mouthwatering birthday milkshake at B-Lux Grill & Bar. Next, we stopped by the resort’s most recent addition, Cinco Niños. We definitely got a taste of all things south of the border from their house margaritas and nachos to their grilled carne asada and carnitas.
Then, it was on to Sortino’s Italian Kitchen where we were greeted with Mama’s house-made Sangria. We sampled their appetizing chicken parmigiana and delicious margherita pizza. Of course, we had to end with a Limoncello toast and some scrumptious cannolis.
Last, but certainly not least, we ended our food tour at Double Cut Steak house. We were presented with a beautiful display of their Tuna Tartare, chilled shellfish tower and the impressive cattleman’s board. Here, we topped off the night with a sample of their espresso martini and a live presentation of how to make a smoked old fashioned.
