Viking Pest Control – Dallas, PA

Viking Pest Control started as a family business in 1980 servicing Bridgewater New Jersey and has experienced steady growth and expansion since. Viking began operating in Allentown, PA in 2005 and has since opened additional branches in Exton (Greater Philadelphia Area) in 2019. The overwhelming demand for pest control combined with continued growth in Pennsylvania allowed them to open a local branch in Dallas in 2021 to better serve their customers and the community.

Viking provides full, year-round residential and commercial pest control services. They have a variety of service plans and offer custom tailored solutions to meet each customer’s needs. In addition to providing treatment and prevention for common nuisances like ants and roaches and more problematic intruders like termites and rodents, Viking also offers spotted lanternfly services and mosquito and tick control.

Viking’s dedication to excellence, innovation, and community involvement sets them apart as a trusted industry leader. They offer SMART rodent control, an eco-friendly solution, equipped with camera-free sensors and intelligent monitoring capabilities. Their SMART system offers real-time insights into rodent behavior, allowing them to predict and prevent infestations before they escalate, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to detect rodent activity in various environments. By leveraging wireless connectivity, SMART effectively monitors and tracks rodents within homes, commercial properties, and even city sewer systems, ensuring no intruder goes unnoticed.

Certified Commitment

Viking is deeply committed to their communities, and they contribute to the places they work and live regularly. They donate to many youth sports organizations, participate in trunk-or-treat events, have held blood drives, and they organize an annual food drive and donate to local food pantries.

Viking is rated among the best pet control companies in the country by Forbes Home, Better Homes & Gardens, The Spruce, and Real Simple, and are a certified QualityPro member.

They also take pride in being a QualityPro member by enforcing background checks for all employees and maintaining a drug-free work environment. QualityPro certification is earned by less than 3% of businesses in the United States and they are proud to meet the standards set by QualityPro.

Local Leadership

Dan Talmage, Branch Manager, PA Northeast Region, has been the Branch Manager since 2002. After graduating High School in 1984, Dan served four years in the Navy. After an Honorable Discharge, he applied to work as a Pest Control Service Technician with Viking, and serviced customers for seven years before stepping into a sales role for 12 years. Dan has been a part of the Technical Team, Department Manager and has managed two locations in Denville, NJ and Allentown, PA.

“I have dedicated my entire career to Viking and there have been so many highlights over the years. My first ‘moment’ was 36 years ago when I had first started on my own as a technician after completing training. I remember going to my first carpenter ant service and was able to locate the nest in the attic of the home. It has been moments like these that have kept me in pest control all these years,” says Dan.
