Autumn Equinox | Indraloka Animal Sanctuary, Dalton
Tuesday, September 22, 2026 | 9:00 AM
Autumn Equinox takes place at Indraloka Animal Sanctuary in Dalton on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 9:00 AM, welcoming guests for a morning of renewal, reflection, and connection through mindful practices and time with rescued farm animals. Registration is required.
Designed for individuals ages 18 and older, this seasonal gathering begins with a healing silent meditation walk around the sanctuary’s perimeter. The experience encourages participants to breathe in the crisp fall air, slow down, and let the rhythms of the season create a sense of balance and grounding.
After the walk, participants will gather fallen leaves and create nature-inspired artwork, using the textures and colors of autumn to spark creativity. The morning also includes making handmade seasonal feeders for birds and squirrels, adding a thoughtful, hands-on way to support wildlife during the changing season.
Quiet visits with Indraloka’s beloved animal residents round out the experience, offering space for gratitude, presence, and gentle connection in a calm sanctuary setting.
