Magnet Making Workshop with Joanna Wallace | The Everhart Museum, Scranton

Friday, January 9, 2026 | 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

The Magnet Making Workshop with Joanna Wallace at The Everhart Museum in Scranton takes place on Friday, January 9 from 6 PM to 8 PM. This free, hands on collage workshop invites participants to design and create custom magnets inspired by outer space, using imagery and themes drawn from the cosmos.

Led by artist Joanna Wallace, the workshop encourages guests to explore color, texture and imagination through collage techniques. The program complements the museum’s upcoming exhibition, Hubble Space Telescope: New Views of the Universe, offering a creative way to connect with the exhibition themes before or after your gallery visit.

This workshop is free, but pre registration is required and space is limited to 15 participants. Guests are encouraged to sign up early to reserve a spot for this unique evening of art making and cosmic inspiration.
