The Maslow Family Graduate Program in Creative Writing Winter Reading Series takes place at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre from Sunday, January 4 through Friday, January 9, 2026, with readings held at scheduled times throughout the week. These free, public evening events are part of the program’s winter residency and feature alumni, faculty, and guest artists reading across genres including poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, plays, screenplays, and more.
The series opens with alumni readings and continues through the week with faculty, alumni, and guest artists, culminating in a featured night with visiting writers and faculty mentors. Each event offers a chance to hear new work, connect with the writing community, and experience a wide range of voices and styles.
