Preschool Drawing & Painting at the Dietrich Theater

Every Thursday morning, the Dietrich Theater welcomes preschoolers for a creative and engaging Drawing & Painting class designed especially for young artists. Beginning at 11 AM, children will explore their artistic side through a playful introduction to different mediums like tempera, watercolors, pastels, and more. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, students will be encouraged to express themselves freely while developing fine motor skills and experimenting with color, texture, and composition.

In addition to painting and drawing, kids will also have the chance to explore the art of collage, combining materials in imaginative ways. This class emphasizes creativity over perfection and is perfect for children who love to get hands-on with art supplies. Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay during the class and enjoy the process as their little ones create one-of-a-kind masterpieces.
