Run For The Cookies in Berwick begins on Saturday, February 28 at 10:30 AM on a 6.2 mile course that starts and finishes at the corner of Third and Market Street. The race follows a wheel measured route through town and the surrounding countryside, featuring rolling hills mid course and flat terrain at the start and finish.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers, with each receiving a collection of fresh baked cookies. Age group awards span divisions from 15 and under through 80 and over, with cookie prizes for first and second place. Every finisher also receives a cookie as part of this fun and iconic tradition.
The first 150 registered participants, or anyone who signs up by January 20, receive a long sleeve hooded shirt. Online registration remains open through Tuesday, February 24. This well loved Berwick race blends community spirit, friendly competition and a sweet reward at the finish line.
