Twas the Week After Christmas – an SCC Youth Theatre Program Production at the Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple in Scranton will be performed on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 7:00 PM and Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM. This lively youth theatre production features young performers in kindergarten through 4th grade bringing a funny and touching holiday story to life on stage.
The musical follows the chaos that unfolds when the North Pole loses its Christmas spirit. The Elves and Reindeer have been at odds for years, with reindeer egos running high and elf productivity running low. As they take a much-needed week of vacation, the characters must rediscover what Christmas is truly all about before it is too late.
Performances take place in Shopland Hall on the fourth floor of the Scranton Cultural Center. Tickets are $8 in advance and $12 on the day of the show, with general admission seating. The production is presented through special arrangement with Beat by Beat Press (bbbpress.com).
Twas the Week After Christmas is sponsored by The Briggs Foundation, The Schwartz Mack Foundation, Barbetti McHale LLC – CPAs, Friendship House, and Senior Healthcare Solutions, and is supported by the Lackawanna County Department of Arts & Culture and the PA Council on the Arts. It is a delightful way for families and friends to support young local talent and enjoy a festive seasonal outing together.
