Betty Mascelli Park | Play spaces & community fun in Forty Fort

Betty Mascelli Park in Forty Fort offers a welcoming outdoor space for families, kids and teens. This community recreation area provides a variety of activities, making it a popular summer gathering spot. The playground includes swings, climbing features, slides and other equipment that keeps children active and entertained. A full basketball court gives visitors another option for play. The park also includes the Forty Fort Community Pool, which offers changing rooms and a snack stand during the summer months.

A spacious community pavilion stands at the center of the park. The 20-by-60-foot structure was built with support from local foundations, volunteers and businesses, including major efforts by the Kingston Rotary Club. The pavilion is available for community rentals and events throughout the year. The park continues to grow with thoughtful additions like the Gaga Ball Pit, completed as an Eagle Scout project and enjoyed by many local families.

Betty Mascelli Park also hosts seasonal events that bring the community together. Movies in the Park, Easter egg hunts and other family-friendly activities create a lively atmosphere throughout the year. Named in honor of longtime councilwoman Betty Mascelli, who served the borough for more than 25 years, the park represents her lasting dedication to Forty Fort.

Betty Mascelli Park in Forty Fort delivers playground fun, community events and welcoming outdoor space for all ages.
