Search for spirits of the past by venturing out on a Jim Thorpe Rotary Club GhostWalk. Home of the gallows, where the Molly Maguires were hanged, the town is filled with chilling stories and legends to captivate you. A costumed guide with an old-fashioned lantern leads the hour-long walk to set the mood. The one-mile GhostWalk starts at the Inn at Jim Thorpe, on Broadway.
Space is limited. Reserve your spot online or look for the GhostHost in the Inn’s basement conference room 15 minutes before walk time. While not scary, the GhostWalk is not recommended for children under seven years of age who might get easily distracted with some of the longer stories. Attentive children are certainly welcome. Proceeds help support the many community and international service projects of the Rotary Club of Jim Thorpe.
