This family-owned farm destination is just 20 minutes from Scranton and features over 20,000 apple trees, flower fields, a cider garden, and more than 15 attractions for all ages. Formerly known as Roba Family Orchard, the farm is now one of NEPA’s top spots for unforgettable family fun and fresh air adventures.

Festival Season at Lakeland Orchard

From spring through late fall, Lakeland’s calendar is packed with themed festivals. Explore 4 acres of tulips in May, meet baby animals in the new barn, and pick ripe strawberries at the Strawberry Festival. Summer brings blueberries, flowers, and butterflies, while fall offers apples, Halloween lights, and the annual Apple Harvest Festival. The season closes with a Christmas tree farm in late November.

More than 15 rides and attractions keep families entertained, including the Lakeland Express, Kiddie Kattle Train, Cow Train Express, Country Carousel, jumping pillows, bubble barn, and a giant corn box. Adults can try axe throwing or relax with live music at the Cider Garden.
