Montage Mountain Resorts is conveniently located off of Route 81 in Moosic between Wilkes-Barre and Scranton. The 400-acre resort doubles as a skier’s paradise by winter and a warm-weather fun zone by summer.
Ski Resort
Montage offers winter sports enthusiasts 26 fully groomed ski slopes, night skiing, snow tubing lanes, terrain parks, and seven lifts. Its ski terrain ranges in difficulty from beginner to double black diamond. Excitement seekers, you may want to test your shred on White Lightning, one of the steepest slopes on the East Coast. If the cold of winter isn’t for you, warm up at the Resort’s Slocum Hollow Bar & Restaurant, where you’ll find a full bar including 22 draft options and American Bistro cuisine. Cafeteria-style food and drinks are also available in the main lodge.
Waterpark
After the snow melts and temperatures soar, Mountain Mountain transforms into the ultimate kids’ and adults’ waterpark, offering attractions for all ages. Enjoy exhilarating water slides, a lazy river for relaxation, and a wave pool perfect for fun with friends and family. The park features designated splash areas for little swimmers and comfortable cabanas for those looking for a shady spot to unwind. With frequent events, including adult-only nights, it’s a favorite summer destination for a day of cooling off and relaxing.
Special Events
Montage also hosts seasonal events like wine, brew, yoga, and music festivals; adult swim nights; and boatloads of family fun festivities. It even brings together all the right elements to support larger, on-premises weddings, special and corporate affairs, galas and nonprofit events, themed parties, and other catering needs. The facility hosts events from as small as 50 guests to as large as 250 attendees.
College Student Discount
Take a study break and hit the slopes. College students can get lift tickets and rentals for just $25 all day on Thursday and on Sunday nights. A valid college ID is required, and student rates do not apply on holiday weekends.
