Senape’s Tavern Pitza has been proudly serving the Hazleton community for more than 100 years.
Best known for its pitza (Yes, that is how they spell it.), it has a flaky crust that has been described as not too crispy yet not too light, a sweet sauce, and fresh cheese. Delicious hot or cold, people who live in close proximity to the shop make eating Senape’s pitza a weekly tradition, while others drive long distances for it and still others visiting from out of town pack a couple of boxes to take home with them.
Other Italian specialties like chicken Parmesan, meatball with cheese, and sausage with peppers and cheese hoagies; pasta dishes; and salads round out the menu at this popular local establishment.
