Bright Lights and Fun Nights

Skateaway keeps the nostalgia alive at their roller rink in Wilkes-Barre. All ages can strap on a pair of skates and glide across the floor.

Skateaway holds open skate sessions, as well as special sessions like Tiny Tots, Parents and Tots, Scout Nights, Teen Nights, Late Night Skate, and Wacky Wednesday (free admission if you bring in the item of the week). They also hold birthday parties and private parties. Skate rentals are available.

Skateaway is home turf for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Roller Radicals, a women’s roller derby team that competes across the tri-state region. They even travelled to Dublin, Ireland to represent NEPA.
