It’s Never Too Cold to Make a Splash at NEPA’s Largest Indoor Waterpark
Unfortunately, we can’t skip over the cold months. We’ve checked. There’s no way around it. But we do have some ideas for a day trip that will make you feel like those warm, sunny days are back. Dust off your swimsuit and jump in the car. No passport or airport security check needed. Within an hour from almost anywhere in NEPA, you’ll find yourself at one of America’s largest indoor waterparks. And it’s right here in the Poconos. Pack up the kids and spend a day at Kalahari Resorts Poconos.
You can make a day of it. Or pack a bag and enjoy all the extras all weekend long. We’re talking arcades, the best food, spas and decked out rooms. No need to wait for a snow day or school holiday. Start the day with a little pick-me-up at the resort’s premier coffee stop. Grab your favorite Starbucks beverage and a few fresh-baked pastries to go before finding that perfect spot by the wave pool.

Adrenaline junkies can test their limits on the Barreling Baboon water slide, or challenge your friends on the Cheetah Race. Test your surfing skills on the Flowrider. Of course, no water park would be complete without tube slides, a lazy river and zero-depth water play area for the littlest swimmers. They even have a swim up bar for those over 21.

Fuel up for the hours of fun ahead at this catch-all café with a little something for everyone (even the picky eaters). Enjoy specialty pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, a whole menu of classic appetizers and so much more.

When it’s time to take a break from the waterpark and dry off, head for the arcade. The Big Game Room at Kalahari features 250 of the latest games. Play for bragging rights or awesome prizes.
