130 Acres to Play, Hike, and Explore
Back Mountain Recreation is a nonprofit that protects NEPA’s open spaces and promotes healthy, active lifestyles. They manage a 130-acre outdoor recreational complex in Lehman, which includes eight athletic fields, a trail system, a running track, picnic areas, and other amenities.
It’s easy to discover the great outdoors thanks to Back Mountain Recreation’s nature and hiking trails. The property is home to two miles of trails that range in difficulty. With geocaches hidden along the way, finding treasures is as fun as ever.
The complex is also home to the Jean and Hal Flack Family Sports and Recreation Park, which includes soccer, lacrosse, and football fields for local youth sports groups. It’s home turf for the Back Mountain Bobcats football team, the Back Mountain Bandits lacrosse team, and the Back Mountain Youth Soccer Association.
