This past August, Penn House Boutique opened their doors on Penn Ave. in Scranton. Penn House Boutique, formerly the Pink Pedal, has not only changed locations, but they changed up their inventory as well by adding dozens of new women’s styles to the racks. This expanded space immediately uplifts your mood! Their disco-styled decor and whimsical murals make the space truly come alive.
We sat down with owners Lynn Farrell and Kara Schermerhorn to chat about what makes their boutique such a special piece of the Electric City. These two ladies make a killer team! Farrell and Schermerhorn love fashion, and their two styles combined make for a boutique full of inventory to fit any style. Building relationships with their customers and working with the local community is the best part of Penn House for each of them by far. They also love showcasing their creative sides whether they’re dreaming up new displays or finding new ways to showcase their merchandise.
