We headed to the heart of Downtown Pittston for the 41st Annual Pittston Tomato Festival. The popular, summer celebration includes live music, carnival rides, games and specialty vendors. But first, the food.

With over 40 food vendors, many from favorite local restaurants, we couldn’t resist grabbing ourselves  a bite… or three.  From classic pasta dishes and mouth-watering sandwiches to pizza, cocktails and desserts, the festival truly celebrates the best of Greater Pittston’s culinary scene.

The festival continues through Sunday and includes classic events like the 5K Run & Fun Walk, the Tomato Festival Parade, the Best Tomato Contest, and the Little Miss & Mr. Tomato Contest.
