Open seasonally from spring to fall, LaRue’s Farm Market in Montrose is home to top quality produce and farm-raised meats. Choose from a variety of fresh veggies like tomatoes, summer squash, green peppers, onions, and cantaloupes. They also specialize in corn finished beef and free-range brown eggs. And their angus meat is sold by the ¼ lb, ½ lb, and whole.

When it’s grilling season, take the locals’ advice and stop by to pick up a few ears of corn and some of their hotdogs. But the fun doesn’t stop after the summer: when the leaves start to turn, visit for crisp apples and perfect carving pumpkins.

LaRue’s recommends pre-ordering to schedule pick up of some of your favorite homegrown specialties. When the crop is ready for harvest, you’ll be able to arrange the best pickup time of a few bushels of crunchy peppers or sweet peaches.
