The Dock on Wallenpaupack serves up delicious lunches as well as gorgeous views to vacationers and locals alike. After you’ve spent a beautiful morning on Lake Wallenpaupack, this casual hotspot is the perfect place for you to unwind with friends and family over delicious food and drinks. Not only can visitors find a hearty lunch here, but they can also find an amazing dinner and not to mention a stunning view of a Lake Wally sunset. This restaurant is part of Silver Birches, a historic resort property with beautiful accommodations and lots of activities for Wallenpaupack visitors. The Dock has an array of dishes from sandwiches and burgers, pizza, seafood, and much more!  We decided to check out this NEPA favorite, and try some of their most popular menu items.

We started out with their Dock Pretzel Board. It featured what most would consider to be a ginormous soft pretzel, an array of fresh meats, cheeses and bruschetta. This soft pretzel was seasoned to perfection and paired with a mustard dipping sauce. While the bruschetta paired with the soft mozzarella made for that perfect summer snack.  It was an ideal choice for group snacking.

Next, we moved on to the Crab Cake Sandwich. The crab cake was perfectly crispy on the outside with a soft center filled generously with plenty of delicate crab meat. It came on a beautiful Brioche Bun with crispy, fresh lettuce, tomato and onion. Of course, it came paired with a heaping pile of freshly seasoned, golden fries.

Last, but certainly not least, we went with a local favorite — the Mahi Florentine. The filet was perfectly seasoned and flaky and was accompanied with spinach, all atop a generous helping of brown rice. By the time we finished, it was obvious why  The Dock is the local “go-to” place for seafood in Hawley. They pride themselves on using only high quality seafood from Hawaii, Florida, Maine and more waters around the United States. Stop by on your next trip to the lake.
