Carbondale Public Library in Carbondale is a municipal nonprofit organization committed to lifelong learning, literacy and public access to information. As a member of the Lackawanna County Library System, the library provides vital educational services and free resources for residents of all ages. Its mission supports community enrichment through inclusive programming and open access to materials and technology.
Free Materials, Technology & Programs
The library offers access to thousands of books, e-books, DVDs, music and digital tools. Patrons can use public computers, printing services and high-speed internet in a welcoming, supportive environment. They also host events and programs for children, teens, adults and seniors, including family activities and seasonal workshops that promote creativity and connection.
Community Support & Engagement
