Mission Statement
NEPA Pride Coalition promotes health and wellness equity to enhance the lives of LGBTQIA+ individuals and families in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Integrity, diversity, respect, empathy, community inclusion, and social justice; these values have stood at the center of the NEPA Pride Coalition mission since their founding in 2022.
Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, NEPA Pride Coalition facilitates the growth of a more inclusive system of community service providers that are affirming and supportive of LGBTQIA+ folks and their families.
Their efforts are focused on providing education and training within the community, particularly to licensed professionals and community service providers. NEPA Pride Coalition have provided education and training within the behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment space, to HR and business leaders, first responders, and educators.
