Rainbow Alliance, a nonprofit organization based in Wilkes-Barre, PA, has been a leading voice for the LGBTQA+ community across Northeastern Pennsylvania since 2004. Committed to advocacy, education, and support, the organization works to ensure that every individual—regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression—has the opportunity to live openly, safely, and with dignity. Community Events that Celebrate Diversity
One of Rainbow Alliance’s most prominent annual events is NEPA PrideFest—a celebration of love, identity, and community held each summer. This vibrant event brings together thousands of attendees for a day of entertainment, education, and empowerment, showcasing the strength and diversity of the LGBTQA+ community in NEPA. In addition to PrideFest, the organization hosts smaller events and campaigns that support their mission throughout the year.
