Join the park educator and Astronomy enthusiasts/Conservation Volunteers, for an exciting evening exploring the wonders of the heavens.

This program will highlight the October full moon, sometimes referred to as the Full Hunter’s Moon. October’s full moon will be a supermoon, orbiting closer to Earth than any full moon this year! Participants will have captivating views of the supermoon, as well as planets and constellations, using our professional telescopes. This program will begin as a short informative discussion followed by a hands-on exploration of the wonders and mysteries of the evening skies. Feel free to bring your own equipment.
