CAN DO, Inc. and Mayor Jeff Cusat’s Office will hold a joint celebration to kick off the holiday season in Hazleton on Wednesday, December 4th, from 5 – 9 PM.

Starting at 5 PM, Mayor Jeff Cusat welcomes the community to light City Hall’s Christmas tree – located at 40 N Church Street, Hazleton, PA. Musical performances and guest appearances from Santa and Mrs. Claus will follow shortly after!

During this time, refreshments will be available to all at no cost.

Additionally, the Hazleton Public Library, located across the street from City Hall, will have activities and a ‘Character Storytime’ for younger attendees from 5 – 7 PM.

After the City Hall Tree Lighting Ceremony, CAN DO will hold its 31st Annual CAN DO Community Christmas, located next door at Christ Lutheran Church. During the event, school bands and choirs from the Greater Hazleton area will be performing classic Christmas music, followed by a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus at the end of the night!
