Morning Bird Walk takes place at Nescopeck State Park in Drums on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 8:00 AM. Led by DCNR Conservation Volunteer and local birder Jonathan DeBalko, this guided walk explores a variety of park habitats in search of early spring migrant birds.
Participants will enjoy a slow and easy walk covering less than one mile, with portions on both paved surfaces and natural trails. Along the way, attendees will learn how to spot and identify birds while observing their behavior in different environments.
This program is suitable for all experience levels and offers a relaxed setting for those interested in birdwatching and spending time outdoors. Binoculars will be available to borrow, though participants are welcome to bring their own.
