Pre-registration required! Join Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge from 1-3PM on Saturday, December 28th for their free and family-friendly annual Winter Raptor Program. The program will feature an up-close showing of live birds of prey by their friends from The Wilderz at Pocono Wildlife (formerly Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center), a make-your-own bird feeder activity using provided household items with the Friends of Cherry Valley, a guided bird walk by Jackie and Darryl Speicher of the Pocono Avian Research Center and Pocono Heritage Land Trust, and hoverball archery and hot chocolate/soup with refuge staff. The program will be at the refuge headquarters located at 2138 Croasdale Road, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
