Learn MoreOne of the highlights of the Luzerne County Fair is its strong emphasis on agriculture and farming. The fairgrounds come alive with displays of local produce, livestock, and farming demonstrations. Don’t miss the 4-H exhibits, where local youth present prize-winning livestock and crafts. The arts and craft exhibit halls are full of local talent on display, with homemade creations, artwork, carved pumpkins, scarecrows and more.
Held under the livestock tent near the Arena on Saturday, September 7, at 6:00 p.m., the annual open auction starts with youth market livestock and continues with animal tack, barn tools, and equipment.
