A Memorable Day at the Luzerne County Fair
Yesterday we visited the Luzerne County Fair in Dallas, Pennsylvania, and it was an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Nestled in the rolling hills of NEPA, this fair has been a cherished tradition for locals and visitors alike for many years.
Upon our arrival, the fairgrounds buzzed with energy. The sweet aroma of cotton candy and kettle corn filled the air along with the vibrant sounds of laughter and live music.
We enjoyed looking at the agricultural exhibits that included prize-winning livestock, quilted blankets, and a variety of arts and craft displays. It was a reminder of the rich farming heritage that continues to thrive throughout NEPA.
Of course, no visit to the Luzerne County Fair would be complete without indulging in some classic fair treats. We stopped by MK Bubble Drinks for some fresh-squeezed lemonade with strawberry boba and even grabbed ourselves a sample platter of fries, alligator bites and fried frog legs from local food truck vendor, Feed the Beast.
As the sun began to set the sky was filled with beautiful colors that perfectly complimented the colorful lights that lit up the fairgrounds. We had a great time yesterday and made sure we brought the camera along for the ride. Check out some of the highlights below!
