This network of eight connected trails stretches across about nine miles of varied terrain, giving hikers a mix of forests, open fields, creek beds and ridgeline overlooks. The Cliff Park Trail System in Milford is well-loved for its spectacular views and rewarding yet approachable hikes.

Many visitors begin their adventure at the Raymondskill Falls Trail, which leads to Pennsylvania’s tallest waterfall. From there, the trails wind toward iconic overlooks. The Tri-State Overlook delivers sweeping views of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, while the River and Minisink Overlooks are perfect for photos. Hikers can also climb to the Milford Knob Overlook, where the town of Milford unfolds below.

Most trails are moderately easy, though some sections can be steep, so hikers should plan accordingly. The overlooks have even been featured in early films, with the sweeping Delaware River valley standing in for landscapes of the American West.
