The Schuylkill County Historical Society works to preserve the area’s rich cultural history through their local history museum. The museum is located in the Centre Street Grammar School and contains a number of exhibits. These exhibits include a collection of over 20,000 historical photographs, displays on day to day life in the area, and a research library. The society also keeps Jewish heritage videos on their website and  an up-to-date list of Schuylkill County historical markers.
