The course was designed by Robert White, the first president of the PGA of America and one of the most influential figures in early American golf architecture. Opened in 1927, Skytop’s course is one of the oldest continuously operating mountain-style tracks in the Northeast. It incorporates natural elements of the Pocono landscape, including water on two holes and panoramic views throughout.
