Chasing Cascades Just Got Easier
We hit the trail in search of the amazing waterfalls at Lehigh Gorge State Park. Starting from the Rockport Access Area, you can easily find two falls just a short distance away. Then, journey a bit deeper to the D&L Lehigh Tannery Trailhead to discover the third waterfall. With clear directions, chasing cascades in this scenic state park becomes a simple and rewarding adventure.
Along the Lehigh Gorge Trail, Buttermilk Falls is just a quarter mile north of the Rockport Access Area parking lot. A convenient footbridge offers an up-close view of this towering waterfall.
A quarter mile south of the Rockport Access Area parking area, you’ll come upon Luke’s Falls. Another bridge offers a stunning view of the waterfall framed by the vibrant forest greenery.
Take a quick trip north to the D&L Lehigh Tannery Trailhead parking lot. A short, quarter-mile hike south of the trailhead will lead you to Cascade Falls. This hidden gem is tucked in the mossy forest.
