Borrow a bike and explore the city… all for free!
BikeScranton is a free bike sharing program run by Lackawanna Heritage Valley. Pick up a bike, lock, and helmet from their location at Cedar Bicycle. You can use the bike and equipment all day. Hop on the scenic Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, which will lead you through peaceful forests and parks. You’ll also be a quick ride from Nay Aug Park, Scranton’s historic district, and other downtown attractions.
To participate, you must be 16 or older and have a valid driver’s license or state photo ID. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
Other BikeScranton locations include Hilton Scranton & Conference Center, Lackawanna Heritage Valley, the Marywood University Library, and the Weinberg Memorial Library at the University of Scranton. Bikes must be borrowed from and returned to the same location. Please check individual locations for operating hours.
