That Cheerful Jingle Can Only Mean One Thing: It’s Time for Ice Cream!

When you hear the familiar song echoing up the block, you know The Ice Cream Truck is in town. Kids and adults alike can’t resist rushing out to the sidewalk and getting a sweet treat.

The Ice Cream Truck started as a 1961 milk truck. The owners restored it and started serving soft serve treats from Blue Ribbon Farm Dairy. Later, they purchased a second truck to spread even more delicious joy throughout NEPA. Come up to the window and try their sundaes, shakes, floats, and slushies.

The Ice Cream Truck is based in Lehman and makes visits in the Back Mountain and Greater Wilkes-Barre regions. Regular stops include neighborhoods like Plymouth, Larksville, Edwardsville, Kingston, Forty Fort, Swoyersville, South Wilkes-Barre, and Harveys Lake. Check their Facebook page to see where they’re headed next.

The Ice Cream Truck also does private events.
